Our optician can come to you!  We can bring a high quality, curated selection of frames to your location.  Classic, modern, sophisticated, funky, or specialty eyewear - we can bring it to you.  We use professional optical laboratories to make your lenses to the highest quality standards and dispense the glasses to you at your location when ready. 

At Uncommon Eyewear LLC, our attention to detail and personalized service sets us apart.  We take Point of Wear measurements to optimize your vision in your eyewear.  This goes beyond simply adjusting the frame for comfort.  We take measurements such as vertex distance (how far away the lenses are from your eyes), frame wrap (how curved the lenses are in the frame), pantoscopic tilt (how much the frame tilts on your face) in addition to other measurements to enhance both the fit of the frame to your face and the position of the lenses in the frame to provide you with a personalized fit and optimized vision.  Think of it as the difference between walking into a discount store to buy a suit off the rack versus visiting a tailor.  Consider us to be your personal optical tailor.  

Do you need a glasses repair or adjustment?  Do you have a loved one in a long-term care facility?  We can perform adjustments, replace screws, and replace nose pads at your location.  In the event that the glasses cannot be repaired or you just need a new pair, we can duplicate the prescription and have a new pair made.
